Do I need a licence before my first lesson?
Yes, a provisional driving licence. You can apply for one on GOV.UK from 15 years and 9 months old, and start driving a car at 17.
How many lessons will I need?
Everyone learns at a different pace. The DVSA says learners need about 45 hours of lessons on average, plus private practice.
What should I bring?
Your provisional licence, and your glasses or contact lenses if you wear them.
How do I book my theory test?
On GOV.UK, once you have your provisional licence. You must pass it before you can book your driving test.
